The Digital Media/Multimedia Design program encompasses related career-technical disciplines in five general areas: Graphic Design, Photography, Web Design, Animation, Video and Audio Editing. From the beginning, students are immersed in the creation of real-world projects such as: magazines, posters, web pages, animation and TV commercials.



This program prepares students for careers in digital media, new media, and multimedia positions. The content includes practical experiences in Web page design, interactive presentation development, testing and production.
Specialized skills in multimedia presentations such as video with editing, audio features, and animation with Adobe Flash and authoring software are used to produce a variety of interactive multimedia presentations
The school provides state of the art mac computer equipment as well as any other needed educational tool for class use.

Certificate of Achievement:
A certificate of achievement is issued upon the completion of program standards based on Occupational Completion Points (OCP*).
A certificate of completion is issued to Program Completers who obtain all Occupational Completion Points (OCP) and pass the Basic skills requirements for the program.
Web design is used as a general term to describe any of the various tasks involved in creating a web page. More specifically, it refers to jobs focused on building the front-end of a web page by hand coding or using programs such as Dreamweaver, WordPress or Fireworks.

ELIGIBLE STUDENTS

 
For a student to qualify as a resident of Miami Dade County,
he/she must be able to provide one of the following:


1. A valid Florida ID or driver's license.
2. A certified, Certificate of Domicile.
3. A utility bill with the registrant's legal name as the
addressee.
4. A certified letter received by the school from an agency

specifying that the student does reside in the State of Florida.

The English Center offers job placement, career
planning, and academic counseling.


The SAVES program provides services to refugees and
asylees. Eligible clients may receive free books, English and
career technical classes, child care (3 - 11 years old) and bus
passes.
